This document is about how to create a new release of the JDFLibJ. The release process is fully automated by Bamboo (https://bamboo.cip4.org). You can start the process by pushing the following button:

Process Steps

The following actions are being processed by Bamboo when triggered. The total duration time is approximately an hour:

  • Creation of a new Stable Release Version (without snapshot)
  • Creation of a tag in Stash
  • Creation of a new Developer Version (SNAPSHOT Version)
  • Commit of all changes to Stash
  • All artifacts are going to be signed by GPG
  • Upload the new Release Artifacts to CIP4 Confluence
  • Upload the new Release Artifacts to the Central Maven Repository
  • Upload the new Developer Artifact to CIP4 Confluence
  • Upgrade of all dependent Projects to the new Developer Version (Bambi, Alces, JDFEditor, JDFUtility, JDFToolbox etc.).
