Transportation
Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA)
From the 2nd April 2025 UK requires a ETA fee of £10 for non-UK person.
It can be paid by an app.

To hotel
By car: M11 motorway to Cambridge but suggest public transport is better as Cambridge is not a car friendly city.
By air
London Stansted is the closest airport but all London airports plus train will get you to Cambridge.
Tickets public transportation
At Stansted arrivals head one floor down to find the train station where trains to Cambridge will depart regularly on both weekend and week days. Head to Cambridge main station, not Cambridge North. From the station it is approximately 30 minutes walk to the accommodation so suggest taxi if carrying bags and laptops.
From other London airports take the tube to London Liverpool Street where regular trains will depart to Cambridge.
Weather
Typically around 17 degrees with showers but hoping for a repeat of the 2017 interop glorious sunshine. Pack for rain or sun.
Evening Social event
An evening of Gin mixing and tasting at the Cambridge Gin Laboratory followed by dinner at The Galleria, a local independent bistro. Maybe a pub stop before or after for those with a thirst to quench after a hard day JDF’ing. A non-alcoholic option is available at the gin laboratory.
